Lake and Austin rented an airbnb in Colorado springs to host their guests for their elopement. It is where they both got ready, had their first look, dinner & first dances. They got their wild flowers in bulk and arranged them with their friends the night before. They hired a local chef to come in and make dinner and had a beautiful display of desserts.
Lake and Austin decided to get married on the rocks with their siblings and their best man married them while their family and friends stood from afar and witnessed their marriage. Afterwards everyone headed back to the airbnb for drinks and I took them around Garden Of The Gods for some fun styled shots. This is by far my most favorite part of Elopements. I love that we get to explore the area and I get to be creative.
Afterwards we met everyone back at the airbnb for dinner, first dances, speeches and cake.
The flow of the day was just like a traditional wedding. The best thing about elopements is how you can really make your day however you want it to be. You can make it traditional or not. What matters is you make it about the both of you!
